With Parting Pro’s custom digital form email templates, funeral home staff can now create, personalize, and manage email templates specifically for digital form signature requests. This allows each email to be tailored to the unique needs of different forms and client interactions.
Note: This feature is only available for emails sent in connection with digital forms. It is not intended for general email communication.
Follow these steps to create a custom email template for digital form signature requests in Parting Pro.
✍🏻 Creating a New Email Template
Navigate to Digital Form Email Templates
Go to Settings → Email Templates → Digital Forms in the Parting Pro dashboard.
Click Add Template to create a new email template.
Editing Template Content
Once on the Edit Template page, you’ll see a pre-filled template with fields like sender details, email body, and footer. These fields can be adjusted to align with your specific messaging needs.
Rename the Template
Customize the template’s name to clearly describe its purpose. For example, if the email will be used for sending medical release forms, use a descriptive name like “Medical Examiner Release.”
Customize the Subject Line and Body
Adjust the subject line and email body as needed to ensure the email reflects your messaging style.
Preview and Save
Use the preview option to check how the email will look to recipients. Once satisfied, click Save changes to add the new template to your list.
Accessing Your Custom Template
Your newly created template will now be available in the user-initiated emails list for quick access and further editing if needed.
🔁 Duplicating and Modifying Existing Templates
Beyond editing, users can also duplicate standard templates. This is especially helpful if significant edits have been made to a standard template, and users want to retain those changes in a new custom template without starting from scratch.
Users also have the ability to delete custom templates if they are no longer needed. Please note that standard templates cannot be deleted.
📧 Using a Custom Email Template When Sending Digital Forms
Selecting the Template
When you’re ready to send a digital form, in Step 3 of the send process, use the Template dropdown to select your custom email template.
Preview and Send
After selecting the template, you’ll see the email content updated to reflect the selected template’s customizations. Preview the email to verify details, then send it as usual.
