Aftercare by Parting Pro is a compassionate, automated text messaging service that helps your funeral home stay in touch with families in the days and weeks after a service. It’s designed to support your reputation, increase engagement, and open doors for meaningful follow-up without placing more burden on your staff.

How It Works

Once a case is completed in Parting Pro, your Aftercare Texting Hub automatically sends a series of supportive text messages to the family on your behalf. It’s designed to feel personal and thoughtful, without adding more to your team’s plate.

You can:

  • Customize the content in your prompts for each message type

  • Control the timing (e.g., 2 days, 7 days, 30 days after the date of death)

  • Review and respond if a message gets flagged for a human reply

  • Send a one-off message to a contact

    • (e.g. "Hi Catherine, it's Chris from Your Funeral Home. I wanted to let you know that your mother's ashes are ready to be picked up whenever you're ready. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything you need. We're here for you.")

Add Contacts Easily - Even Outside of Parting Pro

Aftercare isn’t limited to contacts from within Parting Pro. You can add families manually as one-offs or add multiple contacts at once. Each contact is automatically linked to your funeral home and tracked through a centralized dashboard.

Compliant by Design

Every contact receives a clear opt-in message before any Aftercare texts are sent. This ensures your funeral home stays compliant with the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and protects you from legal risk.

Our system:

  • Confirms consent from every contact before messaging begins

  • Log opt-ins and opt-outs for full auditability

  • Automatically block messages if a family replies “STOP” or opts out through other means
