Revising a Signed Contract (Missing DOD or Address)

How to fix contracts that were signed before required info like date of death or address was added.

⚠️ Sometimes contracts are signed before key info like the date of death or purchaser address is entered. This most often occurs with arrangements submitted and paid for through the online arranger. In these cases, the contract is automatically generated.

When the occurs, you’ll see a ⚠️ icon next to the Signed status.

How to Revise a Signed Contract to Add Missing Case Data

  1. Click Actions > Revise Contract

  2. Update any missing fields

    Date of Death must be edited/added within the case details. Open the case details in a new tab to edit the date.


    Once updated, click the refresh icon next to the DOD field to update it within the contract.

  3. Once you've updated the missing information, click Send revised version to send the updated copy to the signer(s)

    If you don't want to send it now, you can also send the revised version later from the Actions menu.
