Contact & Messaging Settings

This is the first page you'll land on after logging in. It allows you to review and edit contact-specific messaging details.

Key Features:

  • Edit contact name, phone number, birthday, and decedent details

  • Link to a case in your case management system (Parting Pro, Osiris, SRS, etc.)

  • Adjust the initial check-in date and message send time

  • Customize or override message cadence

  • View and edit automatically generated message previews

Important Tips:

  • Double-check time zones when setting send times.

  • Confirm consent is obtained before checking the opt-in box if manually adding a contact.

⚠️Remember:

The time that you have in the DOB and DOD fields are when the messages will be triggered to be sent.


Add Multiple Contacts


Quickly upload multiple families at once through the “Add Contact” form.

Steps:

  1. Click the “Add Contact” button

  2. Fill in the form manually for each contact

  3. Use the “Opt-In Authorized” checkbox only if consent has already been confirmed

  4. Click “Create” to save the contact

  5. If you'd prefer, you can click "Open" on the screen to access a form for another method of entry

Note: If consent hasn’t been received yet, the system will automatically request it.


Add New Contact


Add a single contact manually using the contact form.

Steps:

  1. Select Add Contact

  2. Input name, relationship, and contact details

  3. (Optional) Adjust the date/time for message scheduling

  4. Confirm consent if obtained

  5. Click “Create”

You can repeat this for each family member who should receive Aftercare messages.


All Messages


This view shows every message sent or scheduled for each contact.

Features:

  • Filter messages by name, delivery status, or direction (inbound/outbound)

  • Review the full message history for any contact

  • Monitor delivery status (e.g., “Sent,” “Delivered,” “Undelivered”)

Troubleshooting:
If a message shows as “Undelivered,” give it a moment—sometimes the status takes time to update.


Needs Human Response


Messages flagged for follow-up or manual review will appear here.

Common Examples:

  • Family asks, “When will my mom be ready for pickup?”

  • Questions or messages the system can’t answer automatically

Your Role:

  1. Review flagged message

  2. Take the necessary action (e.g., reply, call, update status)

  3. Document what action was taken

  4. Click “Resolve” to close it


This helps Parting Pro improve AI messaging accuracy and effectiveness over time. It also makes sure that messages that require attention are seen and that your families are taken care of.


Send Manual Message


Send one-off texts to opted-in contacts.

How To:

  1. Search for and select a contact

  2. Type your message in the text box

  3. (Optional) Add internal notes for context

  4. Click “Send Message”

Sent messages will appear under “All Messages.”


Account Settings


Update your funeral home’s information and customize your Aftercare message templates.

Features:

  • Change funeral home name, address, or admin contact info

  • Customize message templates (timing and content)

  • Set default message delays based on date of death

  • Adjust holiday messaging schedules

⚠️ Template Editing Tip:
Do not change or delete the bracketed variables (e.g., [Contact Name] because they’re required for correct message generation.


Dashboard

Overview:
Monitor your Aftercare program performance at a glance.

Metrics Displayed:

  • % of contacts opted in

  • Total number of messages sent

  • AI vs. scheduled message breakdown

  • Number of inbound messages

  • Human response queue

  • List of upcoming scheduled messages

Pro Tip:
Use these metrics to gauge family engagement and identify areas needing attention.
