The Concept of a Keeper
A Keeper or Keeper Administrator is the user designated to manage an online memorial. They serve as the "Keeper" (i.e., Administrator) of the page, they are the one(s) responsible for keeping the decedent's memories alive.

Note: When an obituary is created through your obituary dashboard or through our integration settings in your Parting Pro dashboard, you automatically become the obituary Keeper. Therefore, you are the Keeper of all online obituaries your business creates.
Keeper Responsibilities and Capabilities
Keepers have administrative access to manage the memorial page, they can perform the following tasks and more:
Edit information on the obituary page
Change the profile image
Change the privacy settings
Deactivate the memorial
Delete tributes
Add members to the family tree

Creation via Parting Pro
Choose how you want to manage obituary creation for your cases with these options:
Activate Automatic Obituary Creation for All Cases: Set up your system to automatically generate obituaries for every case. The next of Kin or Informant listed for that case will be sent a Keeper invite. Learn more here
Enable Obituary Creation on a Case-by-Case Basis: Manually enable obituary creation for individual cases as needed. Manually send an invite to the next of Kin or Informant listed for that case will become the Keeper. Learn more here
Creation via Funeral Homes Obituary dashboard
Login to the obituary dashboard to manually create an obituary and then send the Keeper invite to the family. This is a great option if there is not a Parting Pro case for this decedent. Learn more here
