Parting Pro AI Assistant

The Parting Pro AI Assistant lets you ask questions about your cases, financials, forms, tasks, and more and get instant answers with links directly to the relevant pages in your dashboard.

👤 Who can use it: All funeral home staff with a Parting Pro login (admin and team member roles).


1. Opening the AI Assistant

  • Click the AI Assistant icon in the top navigation bar.

The landing screen shows a list of suggested starter questions. Click any suggestion to send it immediately, or type your own question in the input box at the bottom.


2. Asking a question

  • Type any question in the input box and press Enter or click the send button.

  • You can ask in plain English; no special syntax required.

  • While the assistant is thinking, a processing indicator appears. The answer then streams in word by word.

🔗 Case names and case numbers in the response are clickable links. Clicking one takes you directly to the relevant subpage: cases, payments, forms, tasks, notes, contracts, or events, depending on what you asked about.

💬 Below each response, two or three suggested follow-up questions appear. Click one to continue the conversation, or type your own next question. The assistant remembers the context of your current conversation so you don't have to repeat yourself.


3. What you can ask

The assistant has access to your funeral home's data across these areas:

👤 Cases and people

  • Case details, decedent information, demographics, relationships, military service, disposition

  • Example: "Show me all cases opened this month" / "What is the disposition type for the Williams case?"

💰Financials

  • Invoices, split invoices, payments, refunds, disputes, payouts, line items

  • Example: "Which invoices are still unpaid?" / "What's the total revenue collected this week?"

📑Documents and forms

  • Digital forms, contracts, PandaDoc documents, working copies, ID verifications

  • Example: "Are there any unsigned contracts on the Davis case?" / "Which forms are still outstanding?"

💻Operations

  • Tasks, events, notes, correspondence, proposals, follow-up emails

  • Example: "What events are scheduled for next week?" / "Are there any overdue tasks?"

🌟Reviews

  • Review scores, review requests, locations

  • Example: "What is our average review rating this month?"

📚Help articles

The assistant can search and summarize Parting Pro help documentation.

  • Example: "How do I set up a payment plan?" / "Where do I find the invoice settings?"

✍🏻Obituary drafting

Ask the assistant to write an obituary and it will pull the decedent's actual information from the case record: name, dates, family relationships, so you start from real data rather than a blank page.


4. Conversation history

  • Every conversation is saved automatically and appears in the sidebar on the left side of the chat page.

  • Click any past conversation to reopen it with its full context.

  • To delete a conversation, use the delete option on the conversation row in the sidebar.


5. Giving feedback

Every assistant response has a thumbs up (👍) and thumbs down (👎) button.

  • If a response was helpful, click 👍.

  • If a response was wrong, incomplete, or confusing, click 👎. A comment box opens so you can describe what went wrong. This feedback goes directly to the Parting Pro team and helps us improve the assistant.


6. Data safety and what the assistant cannot do

📊 Your data stays in Parting Pro. The assistant only has access to your funeral home's records. It cannot access data from any other funeral home.

📖 Read-only. The assistant cannot create cases, send invoices, update records, or take any action in your account. It can only retrieve and summarize information.

What it does not cover:

  • Records from other funeral homes or locations

  • Historical data from before your funeral home joined Parting Pro

  • Real-time inventory or external integrations


Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to set anything up before I can use the AI Assistant? No. The AI Assistant is already enabled for your account. Just click the chat icon in the top navigation bar.

  • Can all of my staff use it? Yes. All team members with a Parting Pro login can access the AI Assistant. There is no separate permission required.

  • Is the information the assistant gives me accurate? The assistant reads directly from your Parting Pro data, so case details, payment amounts, and form statuses reflect what is in your account. For sensitive decisions, always verify the underlying record directly. If you notice an answer that looks wrong, use the 👎 button to let us know.

  • Can the assistant make changes to my account? No. The assistant is read-only. It cannot create, edit, or delete anything in Parting Pro.

  • Does my conversation history carry over between sessions? Yes. Your conversations are saved and appear in the sidebar when you return to the chat page. Each conversation is private to your account.

  • What happens if I hit a limit? The assistant has rate limits to ensure reliable performance for all users. If you reach a limit, you'll see a message letting you know. The limit resets within the hour or by the next day depending on which limit was reached.

  • The assistant gave me an answer that doesn't look right. What should I do? Click 👎 under the response and leave a comment describing what you expected. The Parting Pro team reviews all negative feedback to improve accuracy.
