Obituary Moderation & Privacy Settings

These settings can only be accessed and controlled within your obituary dashboard.

Obituary Moderation Settings

As an organization, you may decide on the moderation rules you would like to adopt. The settings you select will be org-wide, meaning all memorial pages in your organization will have the same moderation rules in place.

Note: These moderation settings can only be accessed through your obituary dashboard and you must have Admin access to make setting adjustments.

Accessing Obituary Moderation Settings

  1. Login as an Admin via your Obituary dashboard

  2. Select Account Settings

3. Select Moderation Settings

4. Choose to turn the following settings on or off:

Tribute Moderation
Tributes or condolence messages are ways for loved ones or family members to share memories of their loved one.

Profanity Filter

Individual Memorial Privacy Settings

A family may want specific privacy settings for their online memorial, example they may only want specific people accessing their loved ones online memorial.

Note: These privacy settings can only be accessed by a Keeper of the online memorial page and they must be logged into their obituary account.

Accessing Privacy Settings

  1. Login into your obituary account

  2. Select the Online Memorial you wish to edit

  3. Click Edit Page Settings

  4. Select the Viewing & Privacy tab

  5. Adjust the privacy settings options:

    1. Public

    2. Myself & Keeper Administrators

    3. Password Protected

    4. Invitation Only

  6. Save Settings
